One main use of steel shims is to fill gaps between surfaces. Whether you need to level machinery, secure a structural beam, or adjust the height of a part, these shims can fill voids for a steady and secure fit. Their strength allows them to hold heavy loads and stand up to tough conditions, ensuring they last a long time.
Our Shim stock starts at 0.005mm thick and goes as high as 3.00mm thick (5 microns to 3000 microns)
You can order just a meter length of shim (ideal for R & D) and have it delivered the next working day if your company is based in Europe. We deliver with 2-3 working days anywhere else in the World.
We also laser cut shim parts manufactured shim to your drawings.We offer a rapid quotation and manufacturing service.
Shim Washers – We are able to supply shim washers, laser cut to customers specification. We can cut more than 60 different thicknesses starting from 0.01mm (0.0004″). Shim washers can be laser cut from Stainless Steel Shim, Carbon Steel Shim, Mild Steel Shim, Brass Shim, Aluminium Shim, Copper Shim and Phosphor Bronze Shim.
