About Us

Hollinbrow Precision Products (UK) Ltd was formed in October 2003 by it’s current Managing Director Jon Griffiths. Jon started his career at British Steel selling flat rolled products in hot rolled and cold reduced mild steels in sheet, plate and slit coil. After 6 years with British Steel Jon joined a private Midland based steel stockholder specialising in re-rolled narrow strip products. After 10 years service Jon decided to establish his own company Hollinbrow Precision Products (UK) Ltd with the intention of specialising in the supply of thin metal in steel, stainless steel, copper, brass, bronze, aluminium and nickel alloys in coil and sheets. This lead to Hollinbrow stocking the largest thickness range of stainless steel in the UK – from 0.005mm (5 microns) thick to 3mm (3000 microns) thick.

Our products are processed by slitting coil, rolling coils or decoiling coils into sheets. This remains a large proportion of it’s business today.

In 2004 we became accredited ISO 9001.

In 2009 Hollinbrow purchased a 40 tonne HME power press to supply a complete service from raw material to finished parts.

2012 saw the installation of our first laser suitable for cutting thin metals down to 0.010mm (10 microns) thick.

2013 Hollinbrow added an additional laser to cut metals up to 5.00mm thick.

Hollinbrow began to be a market leader in the supply of precision thickness raw material and cut parts. Anything that required a gap to be packed out to tight precision accuracy Hollinbrow are the people to be speaking to.

In early 2016 we saw the arrival of our first lapping machine, giving us the ability to lap our metal parts to even finer thickness tolerances.

Late 2016 early 2017 we installed a Haas CNC lathe and a Haas CNC milling machine to add to the product range already on offer. Customers no longer have to rely on parts cut from standard sheet metals with thickness tolerances to unrealistic standards they can now have Hollinbrow turn and lap to a non-standard thickness like 7.00mm, 9.00mm or 11.00mm with a tolerance of plus or minus 25 microns.

We can produce machined components to your exact requirements in numerous metals and engineering plastics.

We specialise in producing your part on our in house CNC Laser Cutting, CNC Turning and CNC Machining. With the ability to lapping and ultrasonic cleaning your parts to finalise your requirement.

Quality is at the forefront of everything that we are striving to achieve. Early 2017 saw Hollinbrow transition from ISO EN 9001:2008 to ISO EN 9001:2015 also adding ISO EN 14001:2015 to it’s accreditation’s.

January 2022 – Hollinbrow Precision Products (UK) Ltd upped their quality standard and achieved certification to AS9100 Rev D to go along side their BS ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Standard.

Our internal inspection is second to none. We measure, record and analyse data to ensure customer satisfaction. At the same time constantly improve our service.

November 2022 saw the installation of our 4Kw Fibre Laser enabling us to offer laser cutting from 0.020mm to 10.00mm.

We can offer a varied range of delivery options that include scheduled, just in time, call off and emergency.
